Your job is at risk, if the other company is using AI and your company is not.

If you use AI as part of your daily functions, your job is more secure as you are more efficient and valuable in your own role.

Understanding Bots and Agents.

BOTS, often referred to as chatbots, are programmed to simulate human conversation, providing instant support and information to users. They are commonly used in customer service to handle inquiries and troubleshoot issues, freeing up human resources for more complex tasks.

Do not install a Bot, just because you can. Do you need it?

AGENTS, on the other hand, are more advanced AI systems capable of learning and adapting to new information. They can perform a wide range of functions, from data analysis to executing complex algorithms, making them essential for decision-making processes. Both bots and agents play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering seamless user experiences in various industries.

What can AI do for your warehouse.

What's said, without really saying it.

Artificial Intelligence holds immense potential for revolutionising warehouse operations. By implementing AI-driven systems, warehouses can optimise inventory management, ensuring that stock levels are accurately monitored and replenished as needed. AI can also enhance the accuracy of order picking and packing, reducing errors and improving customer satisfaction.

What can it really do?

AI can seamlessly consolidate scattered shipment details—emails, spreadsheets, and software into one place, maybe even your existing Excel Sheet. It updates logistics in real-time, automatically messaging the forkies to stop loading out, and move over to another more urgent trailer.

If a collection is delayed or cancelled, AI reprioritises tasks, ensuring urgent shipments are processed first. It can also integrate with apps, generate labels, send messages, and even call customers to update them on their orders—freeing up staff for more critical tasks.

Streamlining Logistics with AI

The Statement AI Makes

AI will consolidate all of this information seamlessly in one place. If a customer emails half an hour after the container doors have been opened to cancel their planned collection, AI will automatically adjust the plan in real-time. Their items location is changed to deeper in the warehouse, instead of nearer to the goods out bay. It will only interact the people who need to know this change. If they do not respond, it will move on to the next person

How Does It Do It?

What defines AI is not just the code itself, but the complexity of its algorithms and the computing power behind it. The intelligence comes from how well your systems—whether it’s a computer, keyboard, barcode scanner, gatehouse camera, spreadsheets, or emails—connect to it and process data.

Someone who understands your needs can offer a solution—provided they truly grasp the problem. While off-the-shelf AI solutions like the ones advertised on social media, are available, all AI ultimately comes down to code and access to the servers, memory and the interactions.

Find a coder or consultant, Search YouTube.

Use 3rd party tools, or have something made.

Then gain is how well you then display it, deliver it to your staff or use it to make changes in the background.

Do not let someone sell you their AI widget that they say you need.

Before jumping into AI, getting a coder, or hours on YouTube, it’s important to identify what’s actually slowing down your workflow.

Repetitive tasks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies need to be examined first. The solution might not be AI or custom coding—it could be as simple as changing the way you work.

Your existing software may already have features that can streamline processes, automate tasks, or improve efficiency without additional investment.

The key is understanding where the real problems lie before looking for new solutions.
